I hope you can imagine where I mean to place expansions. Gold bases are on the low ground within Watchtower range. I really want to implement destructible bridges for this concept, but I´m gonna need the help of a skilled data editor.Image

I imagine the 4 bridges to the center being destructible as well. Middle might have 4 gas expo.Image

Standard 4P map a la Shakuras Plateau. I intend to use the height tool to make big realistic looking mountains including in the center.Image

Space/industrial 2P map, might have destructible bridges as well if I ever work it out.Image

concept 1: referring to the first concept with destructable bridges:

I like the layout and bridges could be fun, but the layout could also work with 'normal' bridges.

one thing i am critical of is the highround gold. while the XWT allows easier access up the ramp, it is rather easy to secure from up there. maybe you should make it more difficult by different placement of XWT or LoSBs.

the highground will be important in any starting position setup, so i am unsure if it should be gold really. probably a regular base is ok, too?

the 'pocket' from the centre towards the two bridges might be a better position for an additzional gold base I think. also i would prefer one has to actually scout for the gold instead of taking the tower/being killed when approaching the tower to check for gold.

overall really nice layout, hope you get the distances right.

Thanks for the input Samro.

The gold bases are meant to be low ground, not high ground. Would that change your perception?
The destructible bridges would be destroyed when spawning 9 o´clock vs 6 o´clock thus eliminating an extra entrance to your third base. When spawning 6 o´clock vs 3 o´clock, destroying your opponents bridge would hinder an easy 4th.

concept 1: dont do this one - a very similar one has been made by prodig already (called destiny iirc). dunno what those blue things at those middle base ramps are > if stone: even worse.

concept 2: like this one. would make those geysirs give only 750gas each. close spawn look really close in that drawing ^^

concept 3: u say shakuras? so come spawns are disabled? rly would like to see how units (air) interact with ur mountains etc. looks good but might end up to big ^^

concept 4: u are forced to expand toward ur opponent and thus exposoe urself.

Out of those i would like to see initial drawing for 2 and 3 in the editor.

Damn Dezi ;)

I already started cuz I was inspired. Not sure if I agree on it being too similar to Destiny tho. Anyway, so far I have only worked on the central area.
I think it has potential.
