This is the Shifts, Twist & Asymmetries: Sketchbook for map collaborations of twisted minds and groundbreaking shifts in mapmaking :? through the use of symmetries/asymmetries and other strange stuff.

Post your maps that do not deserve their own mapthread or that are not a collaborative project yet.

4 player rotational with the fourth based turned 180° to make is twisted, then shifted.

aim: asymmetric 4 player that may allow close spawns, tehrefore equal chances when exopanding in any direction is a must.

looking forward to your suggestions and advice on balancing.

ask my on skype for the mapfile if you want to play around.

biggest problem: cross spawn distances vs close spawn distances.

3p with 2 spawns being close spawn reflective symmetry and one far, generating another spawn point relation being a rotational...

while distances are ok, there are some balance issues regarding the fourth base. have to tweak the terrain amd nbase orientation to achieve a more balanced base distribution.

Thinking about making the map bigger, to add 2 bases.

9 vs 5 already looks quite good. lots of work here...

except for the rotational spawn relation it looks rather balanced regarding the range to the bases

meltage wants to see the banana-bases rotated. this will help balancing i think and will also look better.
i mean, rotating banana, hey! :D

will implement this.

might at small golds around tower, too.
